Bruce Perry #112

Director of Endurance Operations - Cornwall, New York

Bruce was introduced to racing at an early age, going to the weekly local dirt track as well as annual trips to Watkins Glen for Formula 1 and sports car racing; as well as trips to Montreal for Formula 1. Later, he had the opportunity to crew for IMSA’s Pegasus Motorsports team as well as Kevin Doran’s Lista team alongside his brother; Jeff, who was Pegasus’ Crew Chief. This is where Bruce learned all the inner workings of endurance racing; traveling across the US and Canada with the teams.

In 2008, Bruce started his sim racing career on iRacing and never looked back. Racing with the Can Am Racing Series League (an asphalt oval series) he secured 4 Championships. A brief tenure in The World Tour Series league resulted in 2 Championships. As iRacing progressed; sports cars and endurance racing became a major component of the sim. Looking to put his experience from real life to good use in the virtual 24 hours of Daytona and others; Bruce called upon his racing buddies from Can Am and World Tour series to join him on a quest to win the twice around the clock event. Success followed, with the team winning 2 times and scoring 2 additional top 3 finishes overall at Daytona, and 2 overall  wins at the 12 hours of Sebring.

Moving over to the Mad Sim Racing team in 2020, the goal will remain the same: success in endurance races.
